It’s a Wrap! Day Two of BrauBeviale in Nuremberg
Day two of BrauBeviale is slowly ending. This is why we want to take the opportunity to say thank you to everybody who stopped by our stand today. Talking with you about our technologies, innovations, the market trends and many more important topics has made us very happy. We’d love to welcome you again – either at one of the next trade shows, in further appointments with our colleagues, as a visitor of the Krones magazine, website or social media channels – or even already tomorrow on the final day of BrauBeviale? If you intend to visit, find us at Hall 7A!
Enjoy a small recap of some of our beautiful encounters captured in the photo booth. And who knows, maybe you’ll even spot yourself?
Our Modulfill Bloc FS-C meets his future owner
A happy Martin Thatcher visited “his” Modulfill Bloc FS-C at BrauBeviale – and he even brought some of the cider cans with him that will soon be filled on the brand-new Krones filler-seamer block. Besides the Modulfill Bloc, Krones will also be delivering a complete turnkey line including a mixer and a flash pasteuriser, a product filtration system as well as a packer and palletiser.
“Seeing so many people looking at the machine and technology I know it’s going to be a really good addition to our site at Myrtle Farm,” says Martin Thatcher, fourth-generation cider maker and company owner.
By the way: Not only will there be a new Krones line installed in North Somerset. The Krones subsidiary System Logistics has just completed an intralogistics project with a high-bay warehouse including roughly 18,400 pallet slots. Additionally, Krones has implemented its Line Management system which can be used to coordinate orders and materials.
Modularised labeller with numerous digital features
Precut labels with cold or hot glue, reel-fed pressure-sensitive and wrap-around labels – the Ergomodul is especially well-known for its flexibility. That is because this modularised labeller can be equipped to handle the entire range of labelling options, to suit every beverage producer’s individual brand image.
Now, the machine has been updated with several technical as well as digital features. The overall goals: less complexity, more flexibility, and benefits for the operating staff. But see for yourself, as Ralf Urban from the Product Management team for labelling technology explains the advantages in this short video.
Steinecker wins German Sustainability Award 2025
It’s a celebratory atmosphere: our subsidiary Steinecker won the renowned award in the Products category, transformation field Climate. In the spotlight: the biomass conversion concept called Phoenix BMC. Dr. Ralph Schneid, Head of the Product Development team at Steinecker, summarizes what is so special about the concept – and how it helps brewers to get the most out of their brewing residuals.
